A School in Iraq

"My unit is working to put running water and bathrooms in the school."

Dear Ssgt Bradford,

What is wrong with the bathrooms and were the pipes broken because of bombs? Would the children go to scool during war and if they were at scool during war would they be on lockdown?

Your friend,
Caroline

The problem with the school is there were never bathrooms in the school. The kids have been going there for a long time with no bathrooms, but in just a couple of weeks they will be up and running thanks to the hard working Marines of my unit. The kids do go to school during during war. Recently a bomb explode next to the school in the picture while the kids were inside, but we do everything we can to protect them at all times.

Dear SSGT Bradford,

Have you been doing good in Fallujah? Is it still hot there? I hope you're ok and that marine that got injured will be ok. We are doing good just to let you know. We all hope you live throughout this war.

Hi ssgt Bradford,

Thank you for sending pictures of a school. How is the marine who needed blood? Do you like fighting in wars? Did the schools always have bathrooms and water until the war? Did bombs break the pipes? Is it still hot there? Were the shcools beter looking before the war?

Your friend,
Brooke

It is still very hot here today it was 97 degrees. The schools here have always looked like the one in the picture but they are getting better everyday.
