How are you? Your friends from Taiwan again~

After talking about foods, we went on with the question: Do you like living in Asia/Taiwan?

Our answer is YES! We love living in Asia/Taiwan!

When Ana and Christine first asked us this question two weeks ago, we couldn't think of why we love living in Asia except because we were born here. But thinking more carefully, the following dialog between us and our teachers can give you some clues:

Ana: why do you like living in Asia?

Apple: what is Asia?

Christine: Asia is Ya-Chou (Chinese translation for Asia).

Apple:????

Ana: ok. Think of Taiwan. Taiwan is in Asia. Why do you like living in Taiwan?

Alice: It's fun!

Ana: YES! It's FUN! what makes Taiwan a fun place to live?

Rudy:(very loud voice) you can go hiking in the mountains. Ah! And you can enjoy hotsprings!

Apple: (waving her arms as if she were swimming) you can go swimming in the sea or in a swinmming pool.

Ana: good ideas! Anything else?

Alice: wherever you go, there is yummy stuff around!

Apple: the school is spacious!

Everybody: yes! The school is extremely large!

Ana: you all like it because you can meet lots of friends?

Howard: you can run and run and run in the playground.

Apple and Alice: you can play and hide and nobody will bother you.

Everybody nods their heads at this.

Rudy: And we had a Halloween party at school!

Howard: there are lots of computer games to play in Taiwan!

Alice: It's easy to go everywhere because the island is small and the transportation system is well-developed.

Allen always helps with more explaination when teachers don't understand our words.

(the recess bell rang. It's time for us to go home)

Everybody: bye, bye!

Kylie, Jonah,Erin, Lauren, Zoe, Alexis,Danielle, Connor, Savannah,Christopher,Lauren,Taylor, Dustin,Tressie,Jared, Taryn, Jade, Amanda, , Kara, Tionna, Franjari, Natalie, Taylor, Carl, Jessica,William, Samantha, Mrs. Andrews, Mrs. Hamilton, and Mrs. Weeg: if you look at the map of Taiwan carefully, you'll see that we have both mountaind and sea within one- hour's drive. I'll see if we can show you a map next time.

Do you like playing computer games? Is your school big? Can you walk everywhere in the school freely? Have you bathed in a hotspring before? Tell us if you like Maryland and what can we do if we go there to read you the story!

Hugs!!!! See you next time!

Wendy, Rudy, Howard, Apple, Allen, Alice, Christine and Ana :-)
