Grade 2 - Mrs. Sandy Andrews' class
Mrs. Andrews' students are beaming questions to each other that they wrote about a story they read in class. Their partner responded to the question and beamed back the answer. Some of the students asked more than one question.

Why dose Tommy really want to use his crayons? He likes the colors.

Grades 3 and 4 - Mrs. Weeg's Computer class
Mrs. Weeg's computer lab students use the Address Book to create a "Personal Dictionary" of words from stories in their reading class.

Grade 4 - Mrs. Weeg's SOAR class
Brenan's prediction for "Amelia's Road" - I predict a girl tries to find a new home. I think she will find a tree. Brenan's question: What did the techer say to draw Lindsie's answer: dearest thing

Students are also using Palms to write their messages to online friends:
  1. Mrs. Andrews' second grade class - partners in Taiwan
  2. Mrs. Spicer's first grade class - Partners in Canada and South Africa.
  3. 5th grade Gen Y students use Palms to write their Kidlink Day journals. The students began their journals in school, took the Palms home at night and completed their journals.
