The Keypal Experience: adding depth and direction

Students easily gravitate toward keypal exchanges because they are often not difficult to establish and don't require much work in their very basic application. Too often, however, students see these exchanges fade away because of lack of interest, depth and direction. Some educators view keypal exchanges as the lowest step on the ladder of Internet use for students and lacking an instructional dimension.

These pages give teachers some strategies to help students establish keypal exchanges that will have depth, direction and definition in an educational setting.
