The students enjoyed writing in the computer lab. They learned
important skills. In the classroom they have to take turns to write on
our one computer. In the computer lab each child has the capability to
type their own letter. We even sent mail to Australia! - Mrs. Amy Crouse

We have used "The Write Place" for writing short pieces with the entire
class utilizing it at the same time. With longer writing assignments it
is such a joy to be able to send a few students at a time to write
independently and print out their work.
Due to our limited amount of class time it is impossible to allow every
student the opportunity to type a writing assignment. Everyone seems
anxious to type their work and the writing lab allows everyone to have the
opportunity and experiennce to use the computer.
We have used the Write Place with our third graders. They have been able
to write a report on the computers. This involved saving on a disk from
the A drive. It has been a big help to be able to have all the students
in a computer lab at one time.
