Since 1995 Isamu Shimazaki and his students in Japan have worked together with my students in Maryland. Our projects help us bridge language barriers that keep us from understanding each other. We use Art as a special way to communicate about our everyday life. In September of 1997 we invited our global KIDLINK friends to share in our "bridging" efforts.
