Children's author, Lois Szymanski, has been an online mentor for Delmar students in the "Author in Residence" program for the past two years. Six students each year write a story under her guidance and direction. All exchanges between students and Lois take place in e-mail. Both years that Lois has mentored our students she has come to Delmar at the end of the school year to meet the students. The students are always excited to meet their mentor face-to-face.
