Teacher to Student Ratio

Sarah and Lois respond to e-mails from the students while Betty and Patti work on-site with the students as they follow the advice of their online mentors. Students work with their teachers as they brainstorm story ideas, make story webs, write rough drafts, revise, edit and illustrate their stories. After each step in the writing process, the students send their work via e-mail to their mentoring author for her suggestions.
