NECC 2006 Geocaching Treasure Hunt

We decided to go on the NECC Geocaching Treasure Hunt to see for ourselves how we could bring content standards into such an activity. It was very easy to see that there are many ways to integrate GPS systems into the curriculum. As we saw on the GPS device screen the distance we were from the cache, we estimated distance and moved according to our conclusions. See what others write about geocaching and curriculum:
