Hi Mrs. Goldman,

In Japan, the New Year Week is more important than Christmas. We eat special dishes called "osechi" and drink sake called "otoso" in the New Year Week. The children get New Years gift. I will send you pictures of the New year Week.

Thanks.
Takayuki.
