From Sayaka at Yamato Elementary

Hello friends in US how do you do?
It is rainy today with strong wind. Last week I saw little flowers in our school yard. I'd like to send the picture soon. I'd like to know you have the same flower in US. Please write back to me soon.

Then she made one with computer.

Hello friends in US, how do you do? It is rainy today. How about you? Now we are in spring. We can see little and beautiful flowers I like best. The name of the flower is "inu no fuguri". This time I attached the picture of "inu no fuguri" that was taken another student. But your students can see and enjoy the little and beautiful flower that she loves.

We are going to record the temperature for May and will be making graphs. The graphs are another interesting way for global learning, I think.

Thanks for your help.

Dear Yuki and Sayaka,
Hi my name is Sariah Michaels and I am a girl. Thank you for the letter and the pictures of flowers. Around my house we know that it's spring because the flowers are blooming and it is getting warm outside. My Dad has a lot of grass to cut when its spring. There are about 1,000 kids in my school.

Your friend,
Sariah
