Say "Takk" to Icelandic Visitors

Mrs. Weeg's computer students from Ms. Hackett's first grade wrote thank you letters to Hilda and Eygló who came to visit us from Iceland in March, 2001. "Takk Fyrir ağ koma í skólann okkar." means "Thank you for coming to our school." "Viğ söknum ykkar." means "We miss you."

Dear Hilda and Eygló,
Takk Fyrir ağ koma í skólann okkar. Viğ söknum ykkar. I liked to hear you talk about the flag. We have the same colors on our flag - red, white, and blue. Our US flag has stars and your flag doesn't.
