KIDLINK Math Keypals Project
Delmar fifth and sixth graders are participating in this Math project moderated by Leisa Winrich.
The project began in October 1994 and includes the following subtopics:
- Daily high and low temperatures for selected cities, includes graphs (1994-5)
- M and M's Survey (1995-6)
- Sunrise/sunset data for December 21 data and graph (1994)
- Groundhog Day Sightings from 22 cities plus curriculum ideas (1995)
- 100th Day of School activities from Maryland, Wisconsin, Israel, Newfoundland, Alaska, Montana (1995)
- Sunrise/sunset data for March 20 data and graphs (1995)
- Question and graphs about length of day and latitude (1995)
- Pizza Pricing Survey from Alaska, Maryland, Virginia, Canada, Kuwait, California (1995)
- A Day Without Numbers! from Maryland, Canada, Northa Dakota, Texas (1995)
- Personal Thermometers from Alaska, Maryland and Wisconsin (1995)
