A Day And A Night

Look upon the midnight sun,
By yourself, without someone.
With the moonlight by your side,
From the darkness, you can't hide.
It will be daytime quite to soon,
For the midnight sun is called the moon.

When the sun comes out with its light,
look upon it, shining bright.
You get up, yawn and stretch.
Then play with Rosie, a game of fetch.
Rosie's a dog, small, yet sweet,
and always looking for something to eat.
A cat named Bob curls up on the floor.
By the fire, and near the door.

But then night falls again too soon.
Out comes the midnight sun, the moon.
Night has come too soon again.
You fall asleep on a chair in the den.
Then wake up slowly, it's
morning
once
more.
