The Day the School Collapsed

Tessa

One day, we were sitting in Social Studies playing concentration (the we is my class) . We had just learned about the "dustbowl" states in central America, in the USA. The question was; What kind of cloud states the beginning of a tornado. I had been staring out of the window, not paying attention.

"Its a funnel cloud", I yelled.

"Tessa", Mrs. Logan said," you know better than to call out like that in class".

My friends, Megan and Ashley , jumped at a blot of thunder. In the classroom, we could hear the strong winds forming. Megan and Ashley got up to go to the bathroom. On their way out of the classroom, they stopped at a window.

"There's a funnel cloud", Ashley yelled.

Just then, Mrs. Logan's whistle blew so loud.

"What is wrong with you!", she yelled.

"Look out the window," one brave and courageous classmate said. (when Mrs. Logan gets mad, saying anything can be dangerous)

"Oh, my god", she said outloud, " its a funnell cloud".

"Well, duh", Jordan Hearn said.

Mrs. Logan went down to the office (her intercom was broken), and told the principal what she (and my whole class) had seen. The Vice Principal said," you are crazy", and to her face, too.

She said, " You wear a clip-on polka-dotted bow tie, and I'm the one who's crazy? I do not think so. Look out the window".

He looked out the window, and practically screamed, " It's a funnell cloud".

"duh", we all said.

An announcment was made to evacuate the whole school into a passage underground. When the whole school was down there, the high school came over through a tunnell. When the last high-schooler was finally there, an announcment was made that seventh-grader Abe Shultz was missing. Justin Guy ran through the tunnel. He came back with his 5000 magic cards. Then, he went back and got Abe.

When the tornado was finally over, our schools were rebuilt. A middle school was built, and the smart kids were moved up to sixth grade. Those smart kids were: Megan, Ashley, Stefanie, and ME! The four of us are very popular. For saving the lives of fellow students, we each got a reward of 1000 dollars from the mayors of Delaware and Maryland. Life can be great!
