A Kidlink Day

Brazil

Food

Lots of kids have eggs for breakfast. There are some that have milk, orange juice and other things for breakfast.

Lots of kids have lunch at school, particularly in the US, in Fresno High School California for example, they take entiladas, boritos, and there are always the ones who take a sandwich, or nothing very special. The kids that don't live in the US have a normal lunch like macaroni, chicken etc. This is what we have here in Brazil.

The main meal in the US and South Africa is dinner. Most of them have chicken or barbecue. Some other places have lunch and dinner as their main meal of the day.

For snacks after school, like if you’re hungry in the middle of the day and want to eat something, it’s usually sweats (chocolate, milkshake, donuts etc.).

Sara's journal (IES Parc de I’ Escorxador). Her meals are like in Brazil. Macaroni, beef, soup, chicken, orange etc.
