Dear Kumiko, thanks for your work. In Italy we have a very similar expression: "to take 2 pigeons with a one only broad bean".
It means: "To achieve 2 aims with an only deed".
This expression comes from an old way used to catch the pigeons with a broad bean as a bait.
I hope someone Italian kid could draw this Idiomatic expression. |
