Yes you do have the same last name as Nathaniel B. Palmer. I wonder if you are related in some way? Our seasons are reversed, you are going into summer, and I am going into winter. My summer weather and your winter weather were about as cold, but my winter will be much colder than your summer. We had a group of Emperor penguins hanging around for a few days. They did not come back today. It was really neat to watch them play on the ice. In the early morning, when things were quiet, I could hear them trumpeting on the ice. It sounded like they were blowing party horns. They were too far out to get any good pictures.
