We Like Halloween

October 15 1996

Dear Kanako Ochi,

When it was dark you go to somebody's house and say trick or treat and if the light is not on you cannot go to there. Halloween is on October the 31. My mom and dad come with me they will not let me do something bad. You cannot do bad things or they will call the cops. I saw your picture and what does it say around it? I do not know what it says.

Shawn

Dear Kanako,

Halloween is on the 31st of October. We do not do tricks on people. We go around and get candy and dress up. I'm going to to be a Ninja crusader this year. Do you have any holidays when you dress us in costumes?

When is your birthday? My birthday is June 9. I am 9. do you have a boy friend? I do.

Dear Kanako,

No I do not do bad things for people. Getting candy is real fun. You should come to America and see all the fun things. We have parks. At parks you have toys. When is your birthday? Do you have fun? What school do you go to? When do you have lunch? Do you know how to say some words in english ?Do you have a french book? Do you play with barbie dolls? Do you have a computer? My birthday is December the 28. I am going to be a angel. You should tell your parents to dress you up. I might come to Japan one day.

Becci

Dear Kanako,

Why didn't you give me mail? Halloween is October 31. It is when you dess up and say trick or treat. Some times we play silly tricks. But we do not do really bad tricks. We only say silly stuff like "Trick or treat, smell my feet, give me me something good to eat." By the way I like your picture. My mom takes me trick or treating. Do you have a holiday you want to tell us about? I might be a witch. Do you dress up and get candy?

Love,
Heather
