A Homonym Story

Prospector Parker's homonym story:

I told my son to go out in the sun and to haul some wood to a hall. He said he would, but he couldn't count the wood because he couldn't find the right sum. I told him not to worry because The Count knew how much wood there was, but he only wanted wood without knot holes.

Can you find the homonyms and tell me their different meanings?

Dear Laura:

Congratulations on the homonyms!!! You picked out every one except one-- So if you want to look again, I'll give you a hint that it begins with "c". But you did a fantastic work--and super definitions of the words, also.

Your Friend,
Prospector Parker
