One means the number one.

Would means I will go some where.
Wood means the wood you make houses.

Blue means the color blue.
Blew means blew something away.

Wood means like the wood that you chop.

Like red and read. Red means like the flower is red.

Steal means like you steal something.
Steel means like you put metal up on a building.

Blew means when a big big wind comes.
Blue means the color like you color something.

Thanks for the homonyms. If you are aware of them you will be amazed at how many words sound alike, but >mean< something different.

Here's a short homonym story for you:

I told my son to go out in the sun and to haul some wood to a hall. He said he would, but he couldn't count the wood because he couldn't find the right sum. I told him not to worry because The Count knew how much wood there was, but he only wanted wood without knot holes.
