Yes, we have a summer Christmas. But the summer season in the Andes is different that the same season near the beach (for instance in Lima). In the coast the summer is very hot (sunny all the day).
Christmas is a worldwide tender time. I enjoy that God's grace, I hope someday all the world could be in an everlasting Christmas tender fellowship.
During Christmas in Peru there are many folk expressions. People like to build landscape replicas for Jesus borning in Jerusalem. I use to build one in my home! (I go to Huancayo in Christmas, my parents live there, I enjoy the Andes field so much).
