The Play Was Awesome!

Dear Prospecter Parker,

I really liked your show on Nov.27, 1996. That was awsome!! I liked how you did the fractions and that thing you did for English [homophones]. I will really miss you. Your plays are really neat. I wish you could come back again. So how many plays have you done? Well good luck doing your plays in Ocean City and please write again.

Wednesday, Novenber 27, 1996 Dear Mr. Parker,

My name is Krista Young. You talked to me on stage at lunch. I enjoyed your show so much. I will really miss you. All the shows that I have ever watched have been awesome! I myself will miss you. You guys are so cool. I love the part where you trick Simple Simon. I also loved the part where Simple Simon tricked the pie maker. All those pies sounded really good. I will miss you. I will let you go.

Dear Prospecter Parker,

Hi this is Julie Hensley. I know I haven't written to you but I am now. I am in the 6th grade and I am 11 years. I was at your play today at Delmar Elementary. I shook your hand too. I really enjoyed watching your play and also we got a chance to stay out of class. But I really did like your play I think it was really educational for kids. This is going to be my last year here at the elementary. I am going to miss some of the teachers. Well got to go.

Your New Friend,
Julie

Dear Prospector Parker,

I enjoyed the show "Simple Simon". I like the part when Simple Simon tricked the pie salesmen when he caught a cold instead of something in the bucket. I've been at Delmar since I was in kindergarten. I am in the 5th grade now but I remember almost all your plays. I will miss you a lot. I used to look forward to watching your before Thanksgiving day. I hope you know that you have a lot of fans here at Delmar.

Your friend,
Ashley

Dear Prospector Parker,

I loved the play you put on today.I enjoyed when the pieman tricked Simple Simon to take all of his gold. But Simple Simon tricked the pieman out of his money after he brought all of those possessions. Simple Simon got back at the pieman with the same game. You put on wonderful shows. Simple Simon did give the pieman any pennies because he was out of them. You were right about fractions I did learn a swab of imformation about them. I will really miss your shows. I am in the chorus and we have to sing 6 songs in our play which are Winter Wonderland, Elegant Christmas Time, Who Can The Stranger Be, Shout,Who Me!!! Your play really gave me a reason not to be nervous to be happy in what I do.

Sincerely,
Christopher

Dear Prospector Parker,

Hi!!! How are you? I'm great!! Between your performance, our pizza party, and the four day weekend ahead of us, my day was great. I can't believe that you never told me and the rest of us that this was going to be the last performance. That will not concern us 6th graders, but you said you have been doing this for nineteen years. That's a long time!! I loved your performance today. It was different from all of your others. You didn't change your scenery like you used to. I have a question for you. In the plays, was it always just you and your wife, or was it maybe you daughter and your son (if you have a son and a daughter?) Well, I have to go now!! Bye!!

Your friend,
Stephanie

P.S. When you asked ,"Is Stephanie here?", I thought that I was in trouble!!!!!!!

Dear Prospector Parker,

Hello. How are you? Probably tired after today! I really enjoyed the show. I thought that since you enjoyed Stephanie's poem so much, that you might like mine! So here it is:

What a Shadow is to Me

To me, a shadow is another you,
It sees what you see, it does what you do.

They live in a world all on their own,
To us, it's like a Twilight Zone.

You could never play any games, like Hide-and-Seek,
Because, with the position they're in,
they would always peek.

So, as you can see,
This is what a shadow is to me!!

Well, how did you like it? I have to go. Kidlink is over!!

Your Fan,
Caitlin

P.S. Write Back soon!!!!!!!

Dear Prospector Parker,

Hi my name is Ashley Roberts I was at the play today and I thought that it was great . I wish that you were coming back next year even though I am in the 6th grade and will not be here next year. I don't think that Simple Simon was that simple because he got his money back .

Your Bud,
Ashley

Dear Prospecter Parker,

Me, Gene. I liked your show today. I wished you'd be able to to come back again. I could just cry but I won't . I hope we could still write back in forth. Why couldn't you do one more play. Mrs. Weeg said, "That you and your wife started to cry after the second show". I would have too! Well, Bye. I'll miss you. I was the boy on the second row with the Goofy shirt on. Boo-Hoo!!!!

Sincerely,
Gene
