Our delicious meal was finished and our group walked back to the hotels while Jamie captured this photo of the four of us. Our stay in Boston was a precious time for getting to know the beautiful people we had been writing to for so many months. As I left the conference center to take the taxi to the airport my eyes were filled with tears. I remember that Ferdi was there and gave me comforting words and hugs. Bonds of friendship were deepened at NECC '94. We walk down different sidewalks now in separate towns but the bonds we formed give us the energy to carry the KIDLINK spirit for all the children of the world.
