Dear Patti,
I can write you more about our holidays. For example, we have
a Day devoted to Women. It is on March 8. It is for all women.
Men and boys give women presents, give them flowers. There are
prepared presents for women or delivered concerts everywhere.
As a rule women can go home early this day. Presents are
all around this day. Maybe it is free ticket for cinema or theatre,
maybe it is a concert, sometimes it is a lottery. I can tell you
about one of Women's Day in our school. We have had music lesson
when two of school colleagues came in to our class. They had a
basket in their hands. Then they congratulated our teacher and asked
her to take a rolled paper from little box and she did this.
She took a paper and read: "Shampoo". Then school workers gave her
a shampoo from the basket. They went from one cabinet to another and
repeated this procedure with all of teachers - women. Members of
school musical and other sections made a concert in the school's main
hall in the evening.
Well, maybe I don't remember some things but in general this is
how we celebrate Women's Day. Of course there are parties in every
home and in every office etc. Everybody likes the day.

Dear Leslie,
You are my friend and I think you shall be my friend. It was
end of quarter and I haven't many time. It is holidays now and I may
to write a message for you. I have "5" in all subjects! Our class
girl (and I with command) basketball contention with girls from
another 7th classes and we have 3th place in basketball of all 7th
class of our school. I am very tall and I is centerer in basketball.
My cat is getupped me very early, it is morning, 6.45. My brother,
mum and dad are sleeping now. I have go to my aunt in Friday. I
want to go there. It is very cold now, it is winter. There is a lot
of snow at the streets and trees.

Dear Leslie,
Hi, this is Olya. I wanted to send a letter to you but I hadn't
time - I had so much homework! Well, you see my letter now. I am sending new
computer music to Mrs Weeg. It is a New Year song. This song about New
Year Tree. Today is Sunday and I'm sitting at home, sewing for my dolls,
doing my homework, playing with my cat, watching TV set and writing a letter
for you. We shall have holidays from January, 28 or later. Our class have
new algebra teacher. She is just beginning her practicing. I think she will
have practice till the end of this quarter. It is not very good, I don't
want bearing her teaching so long because our real algebra teacher is our
class teacher. We love our class teacher. Next week has been a week of Math
in our school and our class must make a Math newspaper. What subject is

Dear Rhae,
I do not play band. But I had go to sing in a chorus.
I am not in chorus now - I don't like it very much. I love to
study about more interesting things which I don't know now. I
like to listen or read more about people, animals, cosmos,
dreams, UFO etc. And of course I like Dinosaurs. They were very
big animals and they lived on Earth many millions of years ago.
It is a very big mystery for scientists and other people. We
have books with dinosaurs for colour paintings, toys-dinosaurs
and special books about Dinosaurs in Russia. I think you can
tell me about Dinosaurs and I can talk with you about them too.
We are not really at Kidlink though we could be.

I am so happy to receive a letter from you!;-))) And of
course, I'm writing back to you. We haven't connection with Internet
for long time. It is the time of holidays, vacations now. I had a very
nice New Year's Eve, New Year and my birthday holidays. We had a very

I have so much homework - I do not work with
computer for two days. I love my Barbie Doll very much!
And I use to sleep with it. I am so happy! I went to
my Unesco club in Monday and I learned I would talk about
e-mail at the presentation which should be held in February or
March. When will you have your vacations? What will you be
doing?

Yes, I do like the barbie doll very much. Big parcel are delivered

Dear Becky,
I am 12 years old and I am ended the 7th grade. Usually we
studied until May 26, but we losed our class book at the end of this
school year so we went to school till May 31. I have very nice pet (and
animal) - a cat. He has round eyes and long hair, he is white but the
ends of his tail, his pads, ears and the nose are black, so he is very
pretty! I like to send mail and do not like long waitings for answer too.
Well, I hope you shall send me a letter around September 2, but
I think you can send one or two messages before this school year ends.
