Emma: Certainly not a Puppet!

When Emma found out that I have a pacemaker and am really "bionic" and sometimes called, "RoboMom" by my son, she wrote back...

Robo mum... ok. I honestly don't think that you're bionic. I wish that mum was battery powered then I could have a robo mum of my own!

I am writing to a robot..... scary stuff. I knew that I was talking through a robot but not to one. Oh well you will have to do. Do you have a code name? I know you can be short circut no. 6.

See ya.
Emma

Henceforth I became, #6.

Thunderbirds was a stupid puppet TV show about these people who rescue the world. The show is English and it was so silly, you can see the strings! Yeah dad named me after The puppet Penelope so thats how I got my name... after a puppet! Also my middle name is Leonie which means to be Lionlike. Mum picked this because she thought that I needed to be strong in the world.

I forgot that your name was patricia, I am so used to calling you #6! sorry about that. of course we have that name in Australia. Some of my friends are called Patricia. I seem to get them all confused. Do you have a second name?

I dont know why or how dad got Emma from Peneolpe. I think that Emma is just the knickname. I have been told that I am very strong and I won't let anything get in my way. I like to get things done, I like to know what's going on all the time. I am a very to the point person, like dad.

I know many people with the name ann. My mum's middle name is ann and my Auntie's first name, and my grand mother's first name. the list goes on and on. It's a very popular name.

Are you even called Patti when you are at school? Or do you stick to Mrs Weeg? coz I know teachers that let us call them by their first name, they say that it makes them feel young.

I have always wondered if my name was say... Jacinta then would my life be different? I mean would I have these parents or would I play the Piano?

Just something to wrack your brains about.

Em,

No, at school I am Mrs. Weeg which is the custom. The kids see that all of my online friends (even kids) call me Patti and they know what my name is but they wouldn't feel right calling me by my first name. One of the girls from my city doing the MindSPACE project still writes to me online as Mrs. Weeg even though she sees everyone else call me Patti. Some kids call adults "Miss Patti" and that would be more familiar and certainly fine by me. ...but that is not the protocol for school so it isn't done. Am I making sense, Em?

Warm hugs,
