Sunrise - Haleakala (9740 ft.) 5:00 AM
We are above some clouds.

Lynne and Jed huddle to keep warm.
The drive to the top of the mountain took nearly an hour.
The sun's rays break through the clouds.

Gorgeous sight!
Kula Lodge where we spent the first night on Maui.
We ate breakfast at Kula Lodge after we came down from the mountain at 6:30 AM.

Beautiful Protea plants are everywhere.
