Math Magic
Miss Dixon's Class
This summer Miss Dixon's first grade Math class wanted to
perform some "Math Magic" with the wonderful help of Mrs.
Carney. We enjoyed combining literature with learning Math
Skills. The students were amazed to find out about all the
different places we use and see numbers everyday, with the
story About Numbers, which led us on a literature hunt to
several other Math-Related Stories.
The following students enjoyed the story Time To... by
Bruce McMillan, which took us through " a typical day" of
these Math Wizards.
