Every year groups of children from The Cedars School in the London Borough of Hounslow escape the polluted city air to spend a week experiencing the joys of living in the countryside.
For at least one day they play on the beach and in the surf with an afternoon of shrieks and thrills on the funfair rides.
This picture is one of many from a scrapbook the children presented to Mrs Weeg on her UK visit to The Cedars School in March 1995.
