Dear Patti and friends,
Hello!! I am Tomohide Shimodaira. I am a boy of10 years old.
I am very sorry I delayed very much.
First, I would like to make 25yens by japanese coins.
But, this quiz is somewhat difficult for me.
So, I was helped by my father (Hideo) and my mother (Yukari).
Our unit of measure with regard to money is the "yen ".
Now, the yen is almost same worth as cent.
In Japan, we have these yen bills and these coins:
There isn't 25 yens coin, in Japan.
I was very surprised, there are many ways to make 25yens.
1 x 25 = 25 yen
Twelve ways, to make 25 yens!!
So, I think there are 13 ways to make 25 cents in U.S.
Is that right?
Then I would like to tell about favorite things.
I like play soccer. Recently, soccer is the most popular soprt for kids in Japan.
Because, professional league (called 'J league') was opend two years ago. You
know, last year, all U.S. team played very well, in the world soccer cup. We are
enjoied very much.
B!!And I like swimming. I swim every friday at the swimming school. Now, I am
practicing one-persone 100m medley. First, swimming the butterfly, and next is
swimming the back-stroke, and swimming the breast stroke, an the last is
swimming the crawl (25m each).
What is your favorite sports.
all the best, |
