First graders in Mrs. Campbell's and Mrs. Mason's classes visited the computer lab and joined Kidlink by answering the 4 Kidlink questions. The 4th question asks, "What do I want to be when I am grown up?" Students in Mrs. Yurek's third grade read their answers and graphed the data.

My name is Ashley. I am 5 years old. I like to eat. When I grow up I want to be a Ballerina.

Dear class,

I looked at your webpage and this is what I found out. I know there are 19 students in Mrs. Mason's first grade because I counted tally marks.

Mrs. Mason's Class
Careers How many students
football player 1
policeman 5
doctor 2
teacher 1
scientist 1
soccer player 2
cheerleader 1
Olympic skater 3
gymnast 2
dancer 1

Then I made a graph. The graph shows that being a policeman is a popular career in your class because 5 students picked the policeman.
