2. I think that troops would be called upon to stop protesting because some people have a lot of protest for little things like the O.J scandel in 1994. I think that troops would come today because when people have protest it usually crowds the streets and roads.

2. The troops would be called upon to stop the protests because people have such little needs for protests like the O. J. Simson trial in 1994. But Also, people have the right to protest on what they want to protest about. And the people have to show their feelings.

From Tessa Newhouse:

1) I think that there were so many people on each side in Maryland during the war because Maryland was a slave state, but most people couldn't afford slaves in Maryland, and wanted them freed.

2) Troops should be called on for violent protests, but if there are just people marching for something they don't like, no troops should be called, and yes, I think that would happen again.

1) Because Maryland was right in the middle sort of and it was split in half. So people had different opinions and some Marylanders had slaves while others didn't.

From Leslie Dyson:

1) I think there were so many people on both sides because Maryland is in the middle of the north and south near the middle and they were crossing back and forth.

2) I think troops would be called upon to stop people from protesting to stop the trouble before it starts. And I think it would happen today because thy would want to stop the trouble so they would not have to do more than they have to.

From Olya:
