Mrs. Weeg's students are writing to friends in Japan. They want to tell their friends about how many students attend Delmar Elementary School in round numbers.

Part A: There are 774 students in the Traditional calender school. There are 210 students in the Year Round school. About how many students attend Delmar Elementary School altogether?

Part B: Use what you know about rounding numbers to explain why your answer is correct. Use words and/or pictures in your explanation.
